Client Need: Florida DEP had more than 250 custom written applications using a wide-range of technologies. Florida DEP was challenged to find new ways to reduce Information Technology maintenance costs. In response to that challenge, DEP issued an RFP for outsourced Application Maintenance Services (AMS). This RFP required the vendor to provide the full solution to support a large subset of the enterprise applications at a monthly fixed price amount.

Our Solution: E24X7INC was hired, along with its two teaming partners, to provide a team that consisted of an Engagement, Manager, Project Manager, Customer Service Analyst, Business Analyst, QA/QC Analyst, Application Developer, Application Architect, and System Analyst to provide application maintenance support for a subset of the 250 applications which resulted in improved performance and reduced costs. The enhancement and bug tracking tool was proposed by E24X7INC and the workflow customized by the E24X7INC Customer Service Analyst to meet the FDEP criticality classifications, response timings, reporting and issue tracking requirements.
