President of E24x7inc and the Florida Director of Operations for e&e IT Consulting
Marco has over 24 years of experience in IT Consulting Services working in different capacities as Project & Contract Manager, Quality Manager, Team Leader, Application and Database Architect, Application Developer and Business Analyst. Marco manages E24x7inc’s operational, human resource, marketing and recruiting functions but also enjoys remaining technical, leading application & process development efforts for complex systems.
After founding E24x7inc, Marco successfully led E24x7inc Teams on a variety of IT Projects for several State Agencies in Florida, including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consuming Services. Marco’s primary roles have been Application and Database Architect and Vendor Contract Manager. Prior to founding E24x7inc, Marco worked directly as an Application and Database Designer and Developer for the Office of Beaches and Coastal Systems and the Florida Geological Survey.
Before beginning his IT career, during his Doctoral and Research program, Marco wrote 20 International Professional Publications on Stochastic Simulation and Design of Experiments applied to Flexible Manufacturing Systems and Process & Product Quality, in collaboration with the Computer Science Department at Florida State University (FSU), the School of Business at Stony Brook (SUNY), and the University of Rome (La Sapienza). During those years, Marco won 1 SUNY International Fellowship award, 2 Italian National awards and 1 NATO International award. Marco earned his PhD in Industrial and Environmental Engineering in 1995, after his Italian Professional Engineering certification in 1993 and his “Laurea” in Engineering in 1991 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Outside of work, Marco enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, snorkeling, diving, skiing, motorcycling, antiquing … e “La Buona Cucina”!
Kathryn Waters
Vice President of E24x7inc and the Florida Director of Operations for e&e IT Consulting
Kathryn has over 38 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Kathryn started her career coding on punch cards managing data for universities and has worked on a variety of technologies from ISAM, VSAM, DB2 with CICS, to Oracle with Oracle Forms, Java and .Net. In 2006, Kathryn bought into ownership of E24x7inc and began her role as Vice President. Prior to 2006, Kathryn worked for over a decade with Keane Federal Systems, Inc. as a local manager and an Application Architect. Prior to that time, Kathryn was the Manager of the Help Desk at the Northwest Regional Data Center in Tallahassee, FL. Kathryn’s focus is expanding and maintaining the quality of E24x7inc’s workforce as the company continues to grow. Kathryn enjoys keeping her technical skills sharp and stays actively involved as a Project Manager and Technical Lead on large fixed price application design, development and implementation projects.
Kathryn earned her BBA and graduated 3rd in her class of 1,000 with double majors in Accounting and Data Processing from Abilene Christian University. She has raised a wonderful son and daughter and now enjoys her own hobbies. She loves to treasure hunt for antiques, travel and sing. She has performed with the award-winning Tallahassee Community Chorus at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, at the American Cemetery in Normandy, in the Church of the Madeleine in Paris, in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican & in the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the Martyrs in Rome.
Cindy Walters
Business Analyst and Business Development Manager, E24x7inc
Cindy is a Business Analyst and is currently serving as the Business Development Manager for E24x7inc. Cindy has over 40 years of experience in the information technology field. Cindy started her career as a computer operator, moving into programming on mainframes & open systems, progressing into more responsible management roles, and developed a strong interest in analysis – both of systems and business needs. She has worked on legacy mainframe systems, hierarchical and relational databases and managed staff, developing and supporting applications using IBM, Unisys, Digital, VAX, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, .Net, and Java technologies. She has managed teams of staff for several IT organizations, spanning across multiple states, for both public and private entities. Cindy has worked with the principals of the company for many years prior to joining E24x7inc, in 2016.
Over her career, Cindy worked for the State of Florida government for over a decade in education and financial services related agencies. For over 30 years, she worked in private industry in various domains: Information Technology Consulting, Healthcare Services, Trucking, DOD systems, and post-secondary education. Her keen eye for detail grew into a strong interest in business analysis, especially in accounting, and regulatory systems. For over 18 years, she worked for Keane Federal Systems, Inc. beginning as a programming consultant, with promotions into Consultant Manager, and eventually the Service Delivery Manager for the entire State of Florida Staff Augmentation line of business. Cindy earned an Associate degree in Data Processing at Tallahassee Community College. She and her husband of nearly 40 years, have raised a wonderful son and daughter and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and traveling to the NC mountains. She loves to read, quilt, sew and making one of a kind wedding veils for special brides.
Chris Bushey
Chief Financial Officer
Chris currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of E24x7inc. He is responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and the overall financial management of the company.
Chris spent several years with a public accounting firm working with the audit, tax, and business advisory teams. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chris earned a B.S.B.A. in accounting from Shippensburg University. Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Maddie, and son, Owen.
Maureen Nye
Director of Administration
Maureen Nye is the Director of Administration for E24x7inc. She has over 35 years of experience in operations and financial management positions. Her work experience extends over a wide-range to include financial management, project management, contract management and office management. Since joining the team in 2015, Maureen is responsible for all the administrative aspects of the company which encompasses development of internal office policy and procedures; working closely with the Recruiting and Account management staff; oversight of Human Resources functions such as payroll, new hire orientation and employee benefits programs. Works directly with the CFO to administer subcontract management; process accounts payable, client invoicing, and provide various corporate status reports. In addition, Maureen is the Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsible for administering and maintaining government clearances and manages the GSA IT Schedule 70.
Maureen began her career in 1984 at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as an executive assistant on various government contracts then advancing into a financial career where her responsibilities included contract costing, competitive pricing analysis and financial P&L responsibility. In 2004, Maureen was promoted to a Senior Business Analyst with responsibility for monthly outlook and close, client reporting, new business and contract proposal development efforts.
In 2007, under Hewlett Packard (HP), Maureen took on the role as the Financial Manager for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) contract, Field Services Organization. She had oversight for the consolidation of the financial reporting and management of the capital plan until she moved to SafeGuard Services, LLC in 2010. In this role Maureen interfaced with the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) customer alongside the Project Management Office (PMO) providing financial reviews to incorporate Earned Value (EVMS) analysis.
Prior to leaving Hewlett Packard (HP) in 2015, Maureen was as a Financial Manager leading a team of financial analyst in providing end-to-end contract financial management reporting to include client invoicing, financial consolidations, reporting and analysis of a delivery contract within the Civilian segment of U.S. Public Sector. Under this contract additional reporting included Preparing analysis and participate in AIR (Account Impairment Reviews) discussions with the contract stakeholders. Maureen studied at Harrisburg Area Community College and completed specialized training in Microsoft Office Suite products, management, financial, and leadership courses. She enjoys being outside gardening, and spending her free time with her husband Mark, family and friends.
